Early Spring Planting

Harvesting For Local Food Banks.                   < PREVIOUS  NEXT >

This is a joyful experience for all  harvesters.

It is a delightful and sacred work to bring fresh organic food to the Food Banks!  We welcome anyone who would like to help plant, cultivate, and harvest because the more gardeners the more food we can deliver.
Each week during peak harvest season we fill up a vehicle with bags of produce to be delivered to a food bank distribution center that sends the food out to 80 separate food banks.
Smaller harvests go to Daiken who serves meals  at Mendala Cafe in Harlem
