Family Practice Program Description

The Family Practice Program of Turtleback Zendo started with the ultimate goal of fostering a lifetime of study and practice of Zen Buddhist principles beginning with the young child and progressing through adolescence while simultaneously supporting the ongoing practice of their parent(s)  There are no specific prerequisites or exclusions to participation in any part of the program. The only requirement is that a parent must be present at the Zendo when their children are in attendance. The development of the program is based on the Sutra’s, Zen traditions, and, the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh. Questions and concerns may be directed to the Turtleback Zendo Family Practice Program Coordinator.
